If you're reading this, you have likely been invited to participate in the Alpha testing phase of this project because you're a freakin' awesome person. Thanks for that ;)
Our Mission
The GrooveHub is focussed on being exactly that; a hub for all that grooves - from people to music to venues to events. We want to make it easy for you to find something you'll enjoy, whether it's within your home town, or somewhere you're traveling to.
We're also all about community. Using Groups and Group Calendars, event coordinators can help bring people together without clashing with similar events, making patrons choose between one event or another - together we can have it all!
Do you have an art or skill to share? You can show off your own work by conneting media from YouTube, SoundCloud, MixCloud & Twitch. You can even highlight media within your profile header. You can also present all of your informational links in one place and share them via your profile link or QR code.
During the Alpha Phase
Please know that some of the features may not be completed at the time you begin poking around. So, if a button doesn't do something when you push it, please don't throw your arms up and call our app names; it's just a baby! Instead, move along and keep pokin' around - that's what I do when something's not workin' ;) A time will come when we ask for your feedback regarding the look, feel and functionality and will be eager to know what modifications, enhancements and additions you'd like to see, if any. We'll eventually provide a way to report any bugs or typos you come across.
Invitations
Please do not invite others to sign up (yet) without consent from GrooveHub admin. Once we are ready for Alpha testing on a larger scale, you will be notified via email that you're welcome to invite others, using your invite code :) We're going to keep the GrooveHub PRIVATE, by word-of-mouth and invite-only throughout the Alpha/Beta testing phases.
Your Email Address
We will not use your email address for any purpose other than GrooveHub-related notifications (like notifications related to events that you've added to your personal calendar) - which you will be able to adjust settings for - and contacting you regarding your account. However, during testing, we may send out email messages about system updates. By joining in now, you agree to receive these messages - we promise to keep them to a minimal frequency.
